It’s been two years since COVID-19 was announced as a global pandemic. Vaccines and booster shots have shown that they protect from the severe outcomes of COVID-19.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced in a media statement that certain individuals who are immunocompromised and over the age of 50, are eligible to receive a fourth booster to protect themselves from COVID-19.
Individuals are eligible to receive a fourth booster vaccine four months after their initial booster.
