The Consulate General of Mexico at El Paso has been deepening its ties with immigrant communities in El Paso and across the southern New Mexico region.
Free tax preparation and food distribution are a few of the examples of the consulate’s initiative on helping vulnerable immigrant communities in need.
Approximately 1,340 families have received help from the consulate via food boxes of food donated by EL Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank.
The community’s response has helped vulnerable communities with food security as food delivery takes place regularly.
The consulate has also been deepening its ties by offering free tax preparation assistance and workshops to immigrants.
