The Russian-Ukrainian war is a growing concern around the globe. Both sides have agreed as of today, Feb. 28, 2022, to meet and discuss the current situation in both countries. 

In a press statement, released yesterday, Feb. 27, 2022, Antony J. Blinken, Secretary of State, announced additional humanitarian assistance for the citizens of Ukraine. 

Blinken announced that the partnership with the people of Ukraine is growing and enduring. Also, the United States is focused on providing humanitarian needs. 

Approximately $54 million will be used in humanitarian assistance for individuals impacted by the Russia-Ukraine war. 

The press statement also announced that the United States is working with neighboring Ukrainian countries and other nations in the European Union to keep borders open and assist fleeing Ukrainians.
