Workers from different South American countries and Mexico were “illegally imported” to work in harsh conditions in South Georgia farms.

“Operation Blooming Onion” held by Homeland Security and other federal agencies helped dozens of farmworkers be released from “modern-day slavery” and harsh working conditions.
