Throughout the past years, there has been a spike of people leaving native countries and being forced to migrate to the Southern Border of the United States of America, such as Cuidad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico.

There are multiple reasons why people leave their country and migrate to the American Dream. The COVID-19 pandemic, economic and political chaos in their native countries, threats, extortion and climate change are various reasons people leave their native countries hoping to find a better life.

The Hope Border Institute released a report called “No Queda de Otra: An Exploration of the Root Causes of Migration to the Southern Border.” In this report, you can find dozens of interviews with migrants and asylum seekers in which they explain the causes of forced migration.

In the link down below, you will be able to find the 20-page report published by The Hope Border Institute (HOPE) in El Paso, Texas.
